No more Nescafe! FYI

Was at Coral Reef last week and actually asked the server for another cup of coffee before we were done. I asked what it was because I NEVER do that at WDW. I'm not a coffee snob, but never really cared for the nescafe. I was told that Nescafe was being fazed out at ALL WDW restaurants. They will be using Joffrey's Coffee going forward. Artist Point also had Joffrey's - a special blend made just for Artist Point.

It wasn't gourmet but It was better than Nescafe!

1) There has been talk about Nescafé backing out of SOME sponsorship.
2) Maybe it is happening - either in specific areas or overall.
3) However, there is no stopping the relationship.
4) Nescafé supplies (at last count) 238 items to DLR and WDW.
5) This is a 109-year supplier contract.

Joffrey's is pretty good (not gourmet, but pretty good). Their kiosks around the lake in Epcot is where I go if I need an afternoon jolt (of course, if I'm really dragging I'll get espresso ), but their regular coffee is much better than Nestle's, too.

109 year supply contract - no wonder the Nescafe had no incentive to provide a decent product!!

and I dont know any coffee that can taste good in the quantity and style Nescafe serves the syrupy blend (VIA -not had that! I hear its ok )

Disney does go thru a LOT of coffee! (even if its syrupy Nescafe!)

One of the reasons Ive always stayed OFF property is because I NEED a good cup rolleyes1 pot....) of coffee in the morning! I've always stayed at the Marriott World Center.... they have a starbucks in their lobby! Im staying on property in April for the first time, and am planning to bring coffee filters, coffee and creamer from home! If they get rid of the Nes-crape....

We brought Starbucks Via with us and used it in our refillable mugs. Much better than the Nescafe swill!

It was edited to correct the error - they signed a 10 year contract.
