I think that the fries were $3 in Nov. of 2007 but I may be wrong... all I know is when my family stopped for $5 ice cream bars at California Adventure Park in Nov. 2006 on an unseasonably HOT MELTING day, I didn't like it at all... the other 2 in my family received Mickey Mouse ice cream treats, and I bummed about 1/3 of our 4 year old's strawberry fruit freeze treat which was awesome beyond words on such a HOT day, but TOO terribly expensive. Taking out McD's fries stand isn't likely the best idea; sure it's not heart healthy, IS bad for you... BUT - we don't eat like this all the time, and when we walk 'miles and miles' the fries give us some sort of McSuper McEnergy, I swear!!
So, from now, on, 2 churros split between the 4 of us... But methinks on our next trip I'll have to split (gasp!

) 3 of 'em, as our son will be almost 12 on our next trip...
Anyway, we always carry in 3 or so of the oatmeal raisin cookies

from the McD's on H. Boulevard, and it makes a nice complement to a lunch of 2 kids meals and 1 adult meal split between 4 of us in our family.
I will certainly miss that smell of the fries, but the churros

should more than make up for it!
