No more lotion?

Did Disney stop putting lotion in DVC rooms? We just stayed at BLT and these weren't there. Mousekeeping did not have them in their carts.

We're here at SSR and there was no lotion here either from mousekeeping- I was bummed about it!

I think it's only AKV that still gives lotion. I'll find out if it's still there tomorrow!!!

No lotion last month at VWL studio. I thought because it was a studio, but DVC's website doesn't mention receiving lotion now either. Not sure if it ever did.

That is what I was going to say. I don't think it's just DVC.

No lotion for a couple years now. Only in the Grand Villas will you receive lotion.

We stayed in a Grand Villa in 2007 and then when we moved to a 1 bedroom I called about the lotion and was told only in the Grand Villas. Checked the member site and sure enough, the lotion is only listed as a GV amenity.

Many members dont know that, but I think the lotion went away with the Mickey Bottles.

At BCV last May we had a housekeeping issue during T&T and I called to complain that we hadn't been replenished with towels or shampoo, etc. They sent up a big bag of toiletries including lotion. Made me think that that the regular BC does get lotion, just not DVC.

when i was at AKL for labor day week all i received were shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. no lotion

Non DVC rooms DO get lotion. Last month we got none, but my brother had a regular hotel room and got lotion along with all other toiletries each day.

I haven't had lotion at any DVC I have stayed except when I stayed Concierge at AKV however, I never got shower gel in a regular resort room and I would much rather have the Shower Gel anyway never used the lotion.

I'm pretty sure we got lotion during our May trip. If DVC no longer gets lotion, I'm looking forward to seeing a measurable reduction in member dues this December!

In all of our DVC stays, we have never been given any lotion except perhaps on our AKV Concierge stay. I remember getting sunburn relief gel on that stay and we may have been given lotion as well, I just can't remember for sure. We always got lotion on non-DVC stays however.

We used to get lotion. I am looking at a very beautiful Mickey Mouse jar, 1 oz ., that says hand and body lotion; and also, by the way, the shampoo/ conditioner, 2 oz bottles...also in Mickey Mouse packaging.

I can't remember the last time we got the lotion, but probably they discontinued it with the new line of shampoo/conditioner and body wash that they put in the rooms.

When the new line first came out, they did give the DVC rooms lotion. It was wonderful stuff--so wonderful that I got hooked on it and now buy it in the gift shops. (I do have the little bottles that I refill.)
