No more hummus sandwich at Columbia Harbor House?

OMG. I just saw the new menu on allears and it looks like the lighthouse (Hummus) sandwich is gone. My daughter and I live for that sandwich!!!!

Can anyone there now please confirm for me?

It's not listed on the menu at the WDW website either - https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/magic-kingdom/columbia-harbour-house/menus/

I had it two weeks ago - and the CM taking my order warned me to enjoy it, because it was likely my last. I really hoped she was mistaken, but alas... RIP Lighthouse Sandwich.

Wow! This sandwich was very popular. I love the Anchors A'weigh Sandwich there, so that is my go to meal there.. but I honestly understand how everyone feels when a beloved item is taken off of a menu. I also noticed the fried shrimp and broccoli isn't on the menu.. I wonder if you can still get that.

I was there 2 days after they took it off the menu. I was so upset, it is the only reason I ate there!

I've never tried it, probably because to me, it honestly doesnt look very appetizing at all. But I feel your pain when an item you love so much is taken off the menu. Sadly, its official. Its off the menu and will no longer be served. Seems like a popular item so I wonder why it was removed? Hopefully they're planning to replace it with something better. I guess we'll have to wait and see....and hope!!

I heard someone suggest on another thread cost and efficiency might be a factor. For example, it might seem very popular on Disney online forums that people love it, but in reality when you crunch the numbers, maybe more people are ordering the fish fry stuff there? Also, it might just be easier for CMs to prepare the other menu items. Again, not my ideas, but interesting to speculate.

Yes I hear you. That makes sense. If they can provide alternate items that are much easier to make, while at the same time saving disney money, they'll go for it.

If it's any consolation, I make it at home all the time. I use lemon hummus and make broccoli salad (without the cranberries, etc.). I go light on the dressing. Then I service it on whole grain bread. It's always a hit at horse show tailgates!

This wa one of my go-tos. I don't do QS burgers or pizza and very rarely (never in the summer) have fried. I eat a stupid number of salads at WDW and now I've lost one of the few non-salad options that I enjoy in the MK.

The fried shrimp is still here, it's just under the "original plates" choices. The broccoli seems to have been replaced with "steamed vegetables."
