No more "Have a Magical Day?"

The CMs at DRC aren't told to say have a magical day. But the CMs at the resort call center, which answers calls to resort front desks and the switchboards, typically do.

I actually called this evening to get my MNSSHP tix and as we hung up, he said "Have a Magical Evening". Must of been the CM you spoke with!

OP - you and I must get the same CMs! All of them friendly, but in all my calls, I've only gotten one "Have a Magical Day". I'd been waiting for it and it totally made my day! Haven't gotten it again, but next time I may beat them to it and say it to the CM! :wizard:

I guess I'm lucky. I've called a couple of times, and every time I got the "have a magical day" at the end of the call. I think it really makes the call special, and is just one of those little things that sets Disney apart from everyone else.

I have called several times over the past year and I have only got Have a Magical Day one time. I was so use to them not saying that when they finally said it I was shocked. I wish they would say it every time! I miss it! My sister has made several calls latley to plan her last minute trip with the last call being yesterday and she says she has not got one Have a Magical Day either and was wondering why they stopped doing this. It only takes a second , doesnt cost the company any extra money. Anyway , did you guys know if you call our local Chuckee Cheese (not magical at all!) at the end of their recording it says Have a Magical Day! What a joke. princess: pirate:

I got the have a magical day after I made my ADRs at the beginning of the month!

Sorry about that Harmony. Next time when you call and the CM doesn't say it then you say it and see what he or she says.

Called twice yesterday and spoke to two different CM's. Neither one said "have a magical day."

They were both super nice and helpful but at the end of the call, it was the typical "have a good day" that I get when I call other places.

Okay so this week I had traditions and all my training and "have a magical day" is not something in any of our learning material. I guess some people just do it but it's not something to be expected. I work front desk so I would probably say it at the end of check-in (or "have a magical stay") but they never even mentioned it during training.

I remember the saying use to be "Have a DISNEY day". Then a couple years ago I said that to a CM and he said they changed it to "MAGICAL" because saying DISNEY was an inside joke meaning a curse word. ºOº

...no.
