No more Harry Ramsden

I can't find the original thread where somebody thought the fish and chips at Rose & Crown might not be the original "Harry Ramsden's" anymore, but we had lunch there today and the menu simply says "Fish & Chips." The meal is still pretty decent, but by comparison to the original it's not as good. Perhaps Harry took exception to the change in quality, however slight, and pulled his name.

I can tell you right now that the fish and chips they claimed to be Harry Ramsden's..didn't taste like them. When we went to the UK we actually ate at the real Harry Ramsden's chain. They were amazing. But Disney well..Disneyfied their version. Maybe there was a copyright issue. Who knows.
