That's it. A while back I joined WISH...I weighed 156. I lost 27 pounds between portion control, Curves and WATP. I felt good and looked good at 129.

Then I came up with 100 reason why I needed to eat something or not exercise or skip Curves or whatever....from "I'm too tired" all the way to "I think I may be pregnant and I don't want the baby to starve." ;) (which, btw, I turned out not being, but I milked that for a good three months!) ;)

It's depressing b/c I have the DVC member cruise in less than 10 weeks and I gave away all of my larger clothes b/c they were too big. Now my smaller clothes will NOT do for a cruise. Anyone want to rent me some clothes? (wink)

I rejoined Curves a few months ago, but I'm not sure that's doing anything for me. I'm not getting there regularly, that's true, but I'm also not breaking a sweat while I'm there even though I'm pushing hard. I've done the 2 mile WATP express DVD the last two days and I feel like I'm getting a MUCH better workout that way PLUS I can't come up with excuses NOT to do it ("I can't go to Curves b/c there's no one to watch the kids.")

So, I'm recommitting to WATP and portion control and only eating if I'm actually HUNGRY!

Your on the right track now. Sometimes just coming here and posting will get you motivated to getting back on track. You can do it.

Ohmin - oh how I relate yes- :guilty: I am just not being as "faithful" as I need to be - lots of stressing factors going on (just life - but disaster to a stress eater). I "knew" that I was 7 lbs up from my "settled-in" weight (not goal) and I have been saying I am going to lose that and then downward to goal.......................yesterday, it was no longer me just saying to myself (yada - yada - lose it, etc.) I had a dr's appt and usually I just love having lady drs. - well didn't she have to go and say it OUTLOUD to me :sad: "you have gained 7 lbs" YIKES NOW IT IS REAL and so I am really, really trying to get the stress factors in one corner of my brain and the positive facts (stick to counting WW points and the plan works) in the other :teeth: Gotta do it - for me - and so hopefully you will see me back here at WISH to not only get the encouragement that I need but to encourage YOU too!!!

On the bright side, DH and I are to pick up our new bikes today/tomorrow- so maybe I can get some extra calorie burn riding those hills that you know are near my house :cool1: :cool1:

Here's to YOU - think positive and YOU can do it - as ohMom (Molli) said to me - you know you can you've been there before..............okay NOW I really do have to be ever so serious - I guess I should be thanking my dr to getting me into the real reality check!!!
 
hi Karen! happy 4th of july weekend to you -- so good to see you here with us again. I for one can attest to your determination and strength and I remember being a bit envious of your hitting goal (a weight i was coveting). It seems several of us hit a point in our journey that detoured us, and now we are finding ourselves realizing we didn't truly make it a lifestyle b/c a few pounds, maybe 5 maybe 20, have crept back on. Thank goodness we have our WISH board to come to -- i just have to make it a habit again and really use the power this great group of people bring!

we will overcome this and lose the weight and come out stronger! yes we will! and maybe next time we'll think harder before letting it get so out of control b/c after all, losing it twice we should be better in tune with it all :) LOL

i have about 8 lbs myself that I regained and have been lugging around about a year -- i'm trying trying trying to stay in the mode and lifestyle that got me so close to goal back around 12/03, oh my gosh almost two years now!!

just think in 10 weeks you can lose 10-15 lbs!!! yes you can!
