No more DVC Bags

Let me add this too. When we bought our first contracts in Jan. 07 we split them into three 100 pt. contracts. Well our guide gave us 3 totes. He said he would mail out a little thank you/surprise with our paperwork. We were surprised.

My initial purchase was a resale so no tote bag..when I do my add on, which will be my first purchase through Disney, do I then get the tote bag? Probably not

I can't speak for the current system, but we originally bought resale in 2006. Then in February of 2008 did a small AKV add-on directly with Disney and we did receive the tote bag. It's really very nice.

We just purchased a 100 pt add on at Bay Lake Towers and our guide specifically said we would be getting a tote bag. I was looking forward to it too .
When should it come? If it is with the inital paperwork we did not get one as we have already received that and sent it back .

We added on at the end of August and we got one. We didn't even realize we would get another.

We just made our initial purchase of 100 AKV pts AND did a 25 pt. add on 2 days after starting our initial purchase at the beginning of November and we got 2 tote bags, one with each packet of papers. Guess we got some of the last of them!

We just made our first purchase and did not recieve a bag I guess they aren't just cutting back for those adding on.

We purchased while at WDW around Nov 19th or so. We got the bag with all the books / paperwork etc in it. Should've asked them to ship it as it made it tight on our luggage allowance lol..

Yes...we purchased directly through Disney. Do they wait to send it until after your official closing? We are scheduled to close (according to Disney) on 12/25.

I too use the tote bag each trip, while the backpack sits at home. I have one of the totes with the blue "I know the secret" lettering, and prefer others that don't have that on it.

Ebay always seems to have some of the totes offered. Maybe DVCMike is cleaning out his closet

Wow! I have a new respect for my tote bag! Didn't realize these were such a hot item. Just packed it with ponchos and stuff for our next rip and shoved it in the closet. I feel like I should treat it with more respect now.

BTW anyone ever wash theirs?

We got a tote with our 150 point add-on last month. It came with the paperwork. I think I have 5 or 6 of those things now. I would sure trade a couple for one of the blue / mock leather backpacks they gave out a few years ago. I use that backpack all the time.

We just added on in Aug 2 ...100 pt contracts at 2 different resorts and got 2 tote bags which we love and use as carry-on bags now that they zip.
We got the blue back pack with first purchase.... need to take that next time. I would just call and ask for one.....love that logo
