"No More Discounts"

I just got this too. I think I am going to change my stay to after the podcast cruise instead of before. Decisions...decisions. :surfweb:
 

I WANT A PIN CODE!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, we already have reservations and are going no matter what. It would just be nice to pay less. Dh would prefer a disount on the room vs. free dining.

I got this pin code too this morning. I was thinking of using it post cruise (it is not good pre-cruise) as well. Problem is, that starting Dec 17th, it becomes "holiday season" and the rates, especially for the deluxes go up......a lot.

I think we will just be keeping our reservation at the Swan. You can't beat the price for the location.
 
As long as there are non-Disney hotlels, there will be discounts. Competition is good.
 
So I guess free dining isn't filling as many rooms as they expected. Bring on the discounts! :cool1:
 
I already have my resort for Pre Cruise. What if a discount comes out that I am qualified to get...will Dreams change it, or do I have to ask?

I've gotten a couple of pins in the last month or so. Both times I forwarded the email to Tracy and she applied them to my trip.

Alas, it appears to be.

It won't do me any good thanks to the pre- and post-cruise rates at the Swan/Dolphin. :banana:
 
Wonder why this does not inlcude the week before the before the cruise?

My guess was Pop Warner. Good thing too. Just think about the consequences of having Pop Warner and DATW occur in the same week.
 
Oh my goodness, I would love to get that email. The December days are right when my sister and I were discussing a theoretical trip to WDW after the end of Fall semester.
 
Are the PINs tied to the e-mail receiver or can they be shared? Would it do any good to call and ask for the e-mail to be sent or are the rest of us out of luck if we didn't get it?
 
Just call and ask if you have a PIN attached to your name or address. When we first booked my wife asked if she had a PIN attached to her name and got a 20/30/40 discount.

I did what I had been told on the boards. I registered on the WDW website, I searched somewhat regularly for resorts on the website for the time I wanted to go, and saved several of the searches but didn't buy any. This isn't a guarantee and I have no idea if it made any difference.

If you're registered on the Disney website you don't have to call. Just log in, then look under special offers--or something like that, I'm going off of memory. In the past I've gotten PINs by email and in the mail. As much as I've wanted a PIN in the past, I know that if I were a Disney phone agent, I'd get really sick of people calling me just to see if they had a PIN attached to their name. Now, if you are booking anyway and ask them to look, that's a little different IMO.
