I have several old Disney resort refillable plastic mugs and was wondering if anyone brings them on board to use to transport coffee/soda back to their cabin?
I'm thinking the cups provided are flimsy and small and no covers as well. The only problem is having to clean them in the tiny cabin sink!

You could definitely bring one. I bring a large tervis tumbler with a little and a separate water bottle with screw on lid.

Coffee - you can order a carafe via room service with the door hanger form or calling

I recently sailed on the Wonder and noticed one of the coffee dispensers on deck 9 had more clearance so you could put a larger mug in there to fill it. I almost always bring my own mug to cut down on trash and because I like more coffee than the little cups hold. If we stay at WDW pre-cruise, I almost always get a resort mug to then use on the cruise. We are DVC so we bring the dish liquid and sponge from the room to clean the mug on the ship.

If you want more than fits in the paper cups, you can fill the cup a few times and pour the contents into your mug or larger container. You could even keep the cup (that has touched only the liquid) and use it for your next refill.

I wouldn't bring those, they are so tiny (when I refill at the food court at the resort I am almost done by the time I get back to the room haha)......I brought my yeti cup last week :)

It's not hard to use the paper cups to refill (MULTIPLE times haha) and it seems less likely for my cup to catch or give germs via contact :)

At the soda dispenser there's a sign stating "Use Fresh Cups for Refill". However, nobody seems to care. They are "special"!
I actually do. I use a fresh cup to refill my mug. I do feel like I am the only one though.

That’s a good idea and I just got my old Halloween mugs out so I can bring those for my cruise next year Thanks for this timely post.
Also, I was just thinking perhaps SOME of those people‘s mugs are clean. Maybe they have just cleaned them ;)

Your, not the only one, we bring our own insulated water bottle and when I fill them from the drink station, I use the paper cups. I do agree that not many people do that though. But there are some of us that do.

Do they even still have paper cups by the soda on the pool deck? I am fairly certain on the Magic they only had actual re-usable plastic cups- no longer offering paper ones? (Maybe there were both and I just always used the plastic ones?)
