No more chocolate slippers desserts at CRT

Just got off the phone with a CM and was told that they are no Longer doing them.

Anyone hear this also?

I tried to call the special cake hotline to confirm but it was closed for the day.

I think you can order a glass engraved slipper for special occasions.
I want to do that for our 25th anniversary dinner in 2010.
I hope to do that.

What is the "slipper Dessert"?

It's a dessert in the shape of Cinderella's slipper. It's pretty small (I had one at V&A) and there are two -- one is chocolate, and one is white chocolate. I think they're filled with mousse, and on a plate that's decorated with chocolate or raspberry sauce. If you Google "Cincerella Slipper Dessert" you'll see pics. Use Google Images.

Well I finally got a call back from the cake hotline and they said that they are still doing them and I ordered four.

I mentioned to them what I was told and her response was "they have been giving out a lot of bad information lately"

So everyone rest assured that they are still doing them

I'd like more information on this- How much is it? How do you order and can it be sent for any meal? or just princess meals?

My understanding is that you can only pre-order it at CRT or the TS restaurants at the GF.

I dont know the contact information -- I had the AKL IPO office do the work for me. Hopefully someone else can post that information for you.
