My DH said he heard that there were no more chicken fingers at WDW! :scared1: Is that true?? We will be traveling with a 2 1/2 year old that LOVES chicken. And I also was a fan of them. Please tell me this isn't true!?

I think folks mentioned they changed them, they are more nuggets (think Mcdonalds) over Chicken strips (think Wendys).

The places I can remember that have chicken have changed from strips to nuggets (which I don't like - I way prefer strips).

The strips have been replaced with nuggets. Portion size is the same. Basically, you get two nuggets for each strip. Also, they are all white meat. Same company, same taste, just different shape. The only ones that are the processed/formed ones are the kid's meal nuggets.

Chicken Fingers were on the menu at Chefs de France, DD had them last night. They were the larger chicken fingers, not nuggets, and 3 were served.

Best Wishes!

I agree with the above. CS locations have changed them in shape only. I found no difference in taste or quality between the old strips and new nuggets. I have not had any from a kids meal, co I cannot speak of them. TS varies.

I have specifically asked the reason why to restuarants. their response was that parents wanted them this way so they could get one adult meal to share w/ children.

We couldn't taste any difference between the strips and the "nuggets". You do get a lot of nuggets - I remeber having 8 of 'em - and between 8 of those and the fries you're stuffed to the gills.

We ate at the Columbia Harbor House in March just after the strip/nugget switch. DD and I had eaten there before so it was a known quantity. We each had the 8 piece chicken nuggets with fries meal (replaced the 3 -4 strip meal). The nuggets were very good. They were all white meat and not pressed chicken. To me they appeared to be smaller, oval shaped strips but I am not a chicken strip expert. We used the Kens Honey Mustard Sauce and the BBQ provided at the condiment stand. The fries were hot and closer to steak fries than shoestrings.

Lunch:

We saw similar nuggets in numerous CS restaurants. I know at the time some of the TS locations still had chicken strips.
