I just realized I haven't made any posts here in such a long time yet have been to DLP several times. Our last trip was made 4 days before our AP's expired the 16th of last month.
We went back looking for the magic that we miss so much. It had been happening slowly with also not so magical experiences that required complaints to guest service.
On our last trip we went to see the Halloween decorations. We so miss when they had all of frontierland with a pumpkin patch and orange splatter. I wish they would bring it back.
I got to meet Jack but not Sally. DS had on a shirt which I had a full Jack in a coffin embroidered on the back. It is very detailed and we talked about it for a long time.
We wanted to go on the haunted mansion but it was down. However that is where the fun started. The CM came up to me and begged me to leave my husband, because after all, the CM had this huge house. We all laughed, he got down on one knee and proposed, to which I had to say no. Again, it was a blast.
We had the Sunday brunch and laughed hard when Piglet snuck up behind DH and tickled him. All the characters were so much fun and we stayed the entire time.
All in all, it was magical, people were nice, we had fun and we do enjoy our new home park.
Unfortunately, we choose not to renew our passes and we are going to try to see more of Europe. We do plan on going back now and then, when we need our Disney fix.
