No Marie in ToonTown?

I know she hung out in ToonTown before it closed down, but that was before character interaction was resumed last year. Has anyone spotted her in ToonTown since it's reopened? I "met" her from afar last year, but she is bucket list for me to meet and hug.

I haven't seen her, but my daughter says she's there (though she thinks she might be on Main St.).

Supposedly you can locate characters in the app, but I've never tried this. The steps are:
-open the app. Click on the location icon at the bottom (shaped like a balloon with a circle inside).
-click on the downward-arrow-in-a-circle icon next to Attractions
-choose "Characters"
-click "Show List" (top right)

All I get when I tried this just now is Donald, Goofy, Mickey, & Minnie, so I don't know if it's because I'm not in the park or what.

They stopped showing 90% of the characters in here post-pandemic. Not sure why.

Marie is not currently appearing in Toontown. Haven’t seen her in ages.

A majority of characters were never shown in the app. If I recall correctly, Toontown characters were usually not in the app and Marie was never in the app.

I think what Disneyland did with Marie was retire her and i'm guessing she was a limited time only character. I never knew that there was a Marie character at Disneyland because I had never ever seen her during my Disneyland vacations. So I think at some point they will bring back Marie to Disneyland in the future

Correct. Marie went back for playtime with her brothers when Toontown closed, and no estimate on a possible return yet. Doubt it wlll be in the near future - they don't even send out Pete when it gets too crowded.
