Hi! Yesterday I tried changing some of our adrs.(changing days, adding a rest). We will be going the second week of December. I had no luck changing, adding anything for decent(before 8pm)times. I suggest that anyone who has not made any adrs for their december trip do so now,you may get lucky and get something. I am glad i made ours in June.

WOW that is crazy, I just booked all of our adrs for november yesterday and had no problems. Hopefully I must have picked a really slow week to visit. I hope things work out for you.

We will be visiting the world Dec 7-11. I tried to get a reservation for LTT dinner for the 7th or 8th. Both were completely booked! This is supposed to be a slow time at Disney!

The word is out about December. Last year was busy, at least my family thought so. We are going in Sept this year to try and beat the crowds. I will miss Dec. :sad2:

The only really slow time in December (November) is the week after Thanksgiving...after that, it really starts to pick up...while not as bad as the weeks of Christmas and New Years, early December is getting thick...all the holiday decorations and good weather.

Does Pop Warner make ADR's? :rotfl:

Yes, December 2004 we were at the 50s Prime Time and about a group of 40 or more were there. The noise level was unbelieveable. The girls were so out of control and throwing desert at one another. We tried to ignore them and tried to not let it ruin our meal, but 2 years late now, it is still fresh in my mind--just like it was yesterday.

Slow time? No such animal anymore.

We tried the second week of December in 2004 and it was unbelieveable. Even MGM shut down due to capacity. So we tried the first week of December 2005 last year---wrong. Parade taping and again it was packed. December is off our list, so at least there is one less family there. We'll stick to our early February (1 week), April/May (2 weeks), late August (1 week), and October (2 weeks) trips. We avoid all holidays and read December was slow. Maybe back in 2000 when we came, but in 2004 and 2005 it was hardly slow or moderate, at least to us.

Yikes! I plan on going for Marathon Weekend and it never even occurred to me to make my ADR's yet! What was I thinking? Oh, I know - I was thinking more about my trip that starts tomorrow! Maybe I'll wait until I get back to start dreaming of the next one!

Well, I guess I got lucky.............I'm going December 4-6, and was going to MVMCP on the 4th. This was sort of a last minute decision to go on this trip. Thankfully I read this thread yesterday and realized that I better go ahead and try to book any ADR's I want now, especially those close to MVMCP. Well, I got the Crystal Palace at 4:55 pm (close enough to dinner for me!)! Hooray! :thumbsup2

I just called for ADR's for Nov. 29 - Dec. 6 and got every time I asked for. No problems at all.

Yup, we waited over 90 minutes last December WITH an ADR because 90 Pop Warner folk had the ADR in front of us pirate:

But aren't these both MVMCP nights? LTT really fills up before the party.

Yes, they are MVCMCP nights. I'm such a dope though. I have never had any interest in LTT and never really thought many others did either. I couldnlt have been more wrong!

Have you tried getting a dinner reservation early, like I did? I'm going to MVMCP on December 4th, and rather than try to see what's available during the party, we're eating at CP at 4:55 pm. Just a thought! :goodvibes

Just got off the phone with Disney Dining making ADR's for the week of 12/2 to 12/8. The only one I had a problem with was Le Cellier (and I expected that). We won't be eating until 9:00 that night but it is DH's favorite. Was able to book 50's Prime Time, the Hoop-de-doo and Captain Jack's with no problem - had a choice of times. Liberty Tree Tavern on the 7th (MVMCP) was available at 6:25. I imagine the size of the party makes a difference - there are three of us, all adults. Last one to reserve won't be done until Tuesday morning - we're doing a Candlelight Processional dinner package and hoping for Alfredo's.

Congrats! I think you are correct. We have always found little trouble booking for 2 or 3 of us...but when friends decided to join us, making 5, for our upcoming trip, we had trouble changing some ADR's for popular places, as the size of the table had to change, and they had to make a new ADR.

Yes, I asked for any dinner time ADR at LTT on the 7th or 8th. I was only able to get into CP.

Just changed ADR's for Christmas Eve with no problem at all. Guess we are lucky.

We did the same thing! I didn't get all of my ADRs for the days that I wanted, but we were able to switch things around and at least got the locations that we wanted for some time during our trip.

Good luck to everyone!
