No love for ASMu?

Ok that's awesome about POP. I'll be staying there in December.
I haven't followed the refurb too closely and I think back when they announced the refeurb I read 1 queen bed and 1 full pull down on some article so that's why that was in my head.
Only thing I'm not a fan of is you lose the table when you want the bed and my sister and I prefer to hang out on the beds so we'd never have a table to set stuff on like the refillable mugs, food, just "stuff" in general....

Yeah LOTS of the discussion was just a full like AOA bed. But it's not. I am not a fan of the loss of the table. I think they could have had two beds and worked it out with the existing space ......... Luckily the dresser is very long and holds lots of stuff and we can now put all our food stuffs on the beverage center. The bathroom has lots of cubbies too to put purchases etc.

It's just the table time that is lost. For me that is breakfast so a fast fold up of bed ... and evenings when I want to work on computer and I can't because DS is in the murphy bed .... and no, he likes it too much and won't switch with me.

If we stay value again, I would actually choose ASMo (only All Stars we have stayed at) over POP. We did not like POP much at all, I think my biggest issue was how it was set up with the shop, and cafeteria, and dining area all being one contiguous room, it made it very loud, I much preferred the more compartmentalized set up of ASMo when we stayed there, it seemed quieter and less frenetic.

I agree 100%. I have stayed at All Star Music, All Star Movies, and Pop and prefer Movies out of all those, but I really liked Music as well. I liked Pop the least because of the bus situation (it was always packed).

OP, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with All Star Music :)

We stayed as at ASMU this past June. It was a last minute trip with a discount code. Our primary goal was to explore Pandora at AK. All Star Music was wonderful. It exceeded all expectations. 2 adults and one teenage boy. The resort was clean. Our room was in building 7 of Broadway in the back facing trees. Quiet. Cast members all were friendly. Food court updated and nice. Bus service on time and frequent. No problems and it was all DISNEY. Cheerful and fun colors. We went over to explore Movies. Will be making reservations for Movies in 2019. If you are there to enjoy the parks those resorts are perfect.

I love the value resorts....i've never been disappointed with any of them.....until I went to Music. I dont know what it is, but i was underwhelmed as soon as i got there. It looked more run down than the other values. And i hate the layout. Its the most poorly laid out value resort compared to all the others. This was my FIRST impression of music.

My first night/morning at Music was quite interesting. My room had bed bugs. I snapped a pic of the bug not realising what it was. I honestly thought it was an ordinary bug of some kind. When i showed the front desk the picture, they said they'll inspect the room while im in the parks. Cool, i thought. I didn't like the resort much so I figured this is a good reason for me to ask to switch resorts. I went to MK and as I was stepping off the bus at MK, the front desk manager called my cell. ITS BED BUGS. I was devastated and quite stressed. But they were really amazing about the whole thing...they treated all of my stuff while I was at the parks. I ended up getting moved to Sports, which is awesome. Love that resort. So it worked out well in the end.

Anyway, that was my experience. :)

I've stayed at every value resort now (POP the most but not since the refurb) and I gotta say ASMu was pretty disappointing.
I despise the set up.
I stayed in a standard room and it was just about as far away as you could get from the buses. We were facing "landscaping" which was really just a very dark swampy area. No lights, no walkways, just brush and trees.
I couldnt agree more. This was my experience too. Didnt like Music at all. I'd definitely adjust your expectations. Pop is so much better IMHO.
