Ok if you really want my opinion...Go in June. It's not that hot. I mean 80 and 90s. Then again I'm use to that because I live in GA. Humidity, hot sticky weather is my daily life in the summer. I went in June last year and barely waited for any ride. I think I posted the dates but it was the second week I think. I do remember that the soarin line was 45 minutes at about 10 am, which is to be expected.

Only that one ride will be closed (and TTA which connects)....more of a reason to take another trip when it opens again!

Now the big pro that makes me think you should go in June..GF or Poly!!! OMG those are like a dream to me. I would so jump on just driving and staying at the Disney resort of all Disney resorts! LOL How long will your drive be? Plus didn't you say you get to stay longer if you go in June?

I've seen pics of april crowds and they sometimes seem manageable and other times wow. Unbelievable!

Just my two cents but when I read you could stay at those resorts if you wait, I just had to say go for it!

The best thing about all this is that no matter what you decide you will have fun when you get there!

Yeah I'm thinking more along the lines of June...that way I KNOW we'll have the money and can drive..and in all honesty I don't mind driving We get to control most everything. As far as the weather, well I'm not worried about it too much.

And with Space Mountain being closed, well I'm not going to let that bother me--I've ridden it a bunch but have only ridden Splash Mountain once.

I prefer April to June, but you are right. The crowds in April are NOT FUN at time. That said, in this case, I vote for June!

I would vote for June. I agree that the weather isn't that hot then. And the crowds are bearable if you use FastPass and EMH's. We usually go in July and haven't had any problems. We'll be there in June this year from the 19th-27th. If your dates are during that let me know and we can plan a DIS meet.

I see that you are contemplating June again? I you look at the cons of going in June, you only listed two things and they're not that major. We go in June everytime we go. Plus, your wife can go for longer AND you could stay Deluxe if you drive AND have the money!!!

OK...so here's the thing. I went to Disney's site and they've extended the 4/3 deal to where you can book through March 29th....So now I'm faced with staying somewhere else and going in June instead!!!! Pro's and Con's are abound of course.

Pro's of going in April:
-Space Mountain is still open
-Not as hot
-Get to go sooner than later

Con's of going in April:
-CROWDED
-Cooler
-Can't stay as long b/c my wife is only off for a week
-Payment is due Feb. 17th and I'm not sure if we'll even have all the money before then.


Pro's of going in June:
-Will have more time to save money
-Can stay somewhere nicer
-Parks are open later that I know of
-Not nearly as crowded

Con's of Going in June:
-HOTTER
-No Space Mountain

As you can see I'm having a time here..I've been pricing around and if we drive, we can stay at the Polynesian or Grand Floridian. If we fly, then we'll have to stay at a moderate resort!!! I just don't know what to do. And I shouldn't go because a certain ride will be closed (If we go in June) I mean there will be others open

Being close to the MK is a major plus with staying at WL. I really do think you guys would be more happy there just the two of you.

Well here's an update. Thank you to all to have posted so far.

So onto the update: We've pretty much decided to go in June..can stay at WL for about the same price for staying at CBR--it's a little more but not much. Plus we're seriously considering driving instead of flying.

A bit off topic: But I've also decided to go back to school after being out for twelve years Am I crazy? YES!!! If all goes well I'll be in the Massage Therapy program so I can work in an office setting/private practice and eventually start my own practice!! I'll keep you updated on that too!!

I'm a little scared b/c I haven't been in school in over ten years. And being older will probably make it a little easier? I don't know though but we'll see...Thanks so very much.

Well the reason why we aren't going in April is mainly we're not going to have the money by Feb. 17th (when the final deposit is due). Plus my wife lost a day of her Spring Break b/c of a snow make-up day. Sooooo we decided to go in June. She'll be out of school and we can stay a little bit longer
