No longer going in June.

So most of you know that we decided to return sooner rather than later for a September 2011 trip.
Hi Anjalee. How was your trip? Were the kids excited? Hope you all had a great time!!

Hi! Our trip was a lot of fun. I like having longer over the summer, but the September trip just had a whole different feel to it. We did a lot of firsts. I finally got to pick a pearl and got a really pretty blue one that I am going to make into a necklace or ring haven't decided yet. We went to La Nouba one night. Never did it before and it was very entertaining for everyone from 2-60. We also did MNSSHP for the first....fun, but very crowded. I don't know if we will do it again but definitely glad that we tried it once. The kids were so excited and didn't know where we were until we got on Magical Express. Their guess when we got to the airport was the Bahamas since we are going there this summer. our room at AKL was a great location. The kids loved the bunk beds and being close to the pool. We loved being near the Mara and Boma. So convenient. It was a greatbtrip and we are planning on going back to the world in September of next year. Hoping for free dining to be offered again. Keeping my fingers crossed. Hope everyone is doing well. You guys are getting one month closer to your trips!

Welcome to our group. We're usually a pretty lively bunch, especially as it get closer to June. And I actually know where Moss Point is, we use to live in Gautier. But it's been a long time and I'm sure a lot has changed since we lived there.

Glad you had a good time. We went to MNSSHP a few years back don't remember it being crowded, but times change. I like going in the fall. But with my dd and dgd's conflicting schedules probably not possible for a while. We went to the F&W at Epcot and it was really nice would so like to do that again. Weather wasn't so hot as in June but we go when we can.
But again glad you are back. Need you to keep us straight

We really did have fun! I loved the time of year and it was perfect weather. We also loved the being able to fly, but there is no way that my husband would even consider flying in the summer since we have "time" to drive. We are going to do the Bahamas this year. Not sure if we will do a cruise or if we will just do the Bahamas but no Disney in June for us. hopefully someone else would head up the group. I know there is another June thread going. We are going September of next year to Disney for our 10th anniversary so we are trying to save up money for that and the family trip to the Bahamas. I am still going to check in with you guys. Loved planning with you last year!

Welcome also. Sorry I haven't been on awhile. Addicted to a game on facebook and it takes up way to much of my time. But as we get closer to time will be spending more time planning. We can't make adr's until end of Dec. because we're not going till the end of June. But welcome and let's all start the planning.

Welcome! You look like you're going to be there same time as us. We are staying at POR in AB. A cruise, sounds like it would be so much fun, may look into one of those in a couple of years.

It looks like my family will be the ones to start the month of June at Disney. We will be arriving on the 1st and staying through the 9th. We are staying at OKW resort. I haven't been to WDW in the summer in YEARS and my kids have never been in the summer. My kids are getting too old to take out of school now (but never too old for Disney!), so we may be going in early June alot, since I refuse to go on spring break and can't get time off work over the Christmas/New Year's holidays. Summertime, here we come!

Add me add me! We've decided to try for the week school is out - right now I'm saying May 31 because I'm dreaming of staying at the Art of Animation the first night it opens! But we'll see - I'll plan around whatever great deal comes out (I'm hoping for free dining.) Regardless we're staying 9 days - a week just isn't quite long enough for us.

I've been dreaming about going back since our first trip in November 2011. We were aiming for June 2011, then November 2011, but for scheduling reasons we postponed both. It was good trip planning practice though! Regardless we need a dose of Disney magic.

I'm excited to plan this trip. There are so many things that we didn't get to do on our last trip: BBB, CRT and Princess Tea for my now 3 year old DD, water parks for my 7 year old DS. More time in Adventureland, more time in World Showcase, that elusive Le Cellier lunch...

We just booked flights for June 21st thru 30th. The plan is to stay at Windsor Hills, I think Magical Vacation Homes unless I get a better recommendation! My DD13 is part of the "Dance the World" event with her dance school, which means they are going to participate in the MK parade on June 27! Very excited!

Those are our dates too! That must be so exciting for your daughter. I was in the band in high school and my mom loved the parades. She and one other parent would duck in and out of the crowds and follow us the whole route.

When I was in college our band got to do the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Boy was that something…she'll have great memories and so will you.

It is ticking.... I had to officially bow out of the June thread as we had to change our next trip to September of 2012 instead of June. I know there is another June thread started or someone will have to take over this one. I still check back from time to time, but not able to do a June trip.

Can you still update the Post where you list which Dis'rs are will be there in June? Since it is your post no one else can do it! I'm not sure where you left off but I know I'm not on there for June 1-9 at OKW!

It took a tremendous amount of time last June to put all the information together. There is another June thread going. . Maybe I should just ask the moderators to just close this thread? . Someone could start up another one. That way there would be no confusion. In any case, with running a September thread now, I just can't update two threads. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks. Wish we were able to go in June, but it just wasn't meant to be. My mom is able to go with us and we really want her to be there. We decided on a Disney cruise in July for our anniversary instead of Altantis....just can't get away from Disney. And then a small trip to the World in September. I hope your trip is amazing!

May 30th - June 13th. We are doing a tri-split stay. We are staying on-site at PO from the June 1st-9th. Cannot wait to get back to my happy place!

I did not go in June 2011 (we went in March 2011 for Mardi Gras) but we will be there in June 2012!!! May I join the party?

We are going June 8-15 at POFQ!! It will be our first time to stay at POFQ as we have stayed at CBR in the past. I hope we like it!
