I'm here! (And I'm sure eeyore344 would be here, too, if she weren't at work....)

I think we've set the date:June 23 to June 29. We're taking an extra, so have to cut a couple of days off the trip. We're not set on a Resort yet, although I think we're talking Port Orleans. (Come on, Pin Code!)

We are thinking that we will go JUne 21-29. But that is subject to change depending on pin codes, discounts, etc. I have to wait until our school year is over so I know it's going to be no sooner than the week of June 19. I am hoping for good discounts too.

That's the one good thing about being where we are....School has to be out by Memorial Day.

I wish they'd run that pay for 4 get 3 free deal again. It was awesome!

We're going June 2-9 at BLT after a cruise on the Fantasy 5/26-6/2. DD is graduating from collage and that is what she wanted to do so who are we to say no.
Just copied this from the other thread. DD is an education major so she'll be in the same vacation boat you guys are when she gets a permanent job.

Yeah. I am trying to convince my husband we should go for a few days late Sept./early Oct. When we have a few days off from school. He says I'm crazy. He likes Disney, but he can wait until next June. I always wanted to take the kids to MNSSHP. I don't know if it will pan out or not, but it doesn't hurt to try right?

You are always welcome to join us. I don't do pp. With small kids that don't really stay still, always smile, or cooperate with the camera, we just don't pay ahead of time, but maybe someone else would be interested. Thanks for joining our planning.

We love going in the fall to see the decorations. We are going to MNSSHP when we go this Sept/Oct. Then we find out it is also the 40 year celebration while we are there. For us it is a double bonus. Also celebrating DH birthday.

Hey Junies! I booked my THV yesterday for June 3rd until June 8th. As soon as my 11 month window opens u I'll add akv 2br value or Kidani 1 br for 5 nights for a total of 10 nights. We've gone in June twice and boy is it hot!!! We will certainly be doing emh.

You'll have to let me know how you like the Disney Dream. That is what we are thinking of doing next summer before or after our week at Disney. I've never been on a cruise before and would love to go.

We also love Kidani. I m thinking it might be time to take the DVC plunge. I think with how often we have been going lately, it only makes sense.

Hi anjalee! I just got done reading through your June2011 thread. You are the princess of June in my world. I will definitely post here about the dream after that trip. We are actually using dvc points for that cruise. DH was so indecisive about wdw this year after a crazy extended family trip that I canceled our ressie that was booked with borrowed points. I considered renting them but knew I needed to go back to Disney. Talked to dh about a cruise instead, he said yes. We booked the cruise hooray plus 4 nights at Kidani and no extended family to frustrate dh!!!

We love akv. Kidani is gorgeous and their rooms are amazing. Sanaa is wonderful. We really love the private feel of Kidani and how unusual it is. As far as being dvc members is concerned, I'd say look into it if you go once a year or more, stay deluxe and like the dvc resorts. We have been members since our 1st trip and have always been happy with our decision. Pm me for a referral if you'd like.

We haven't officially booked yet either. We just know we are going in June. It's going to be a big shock to have to pay for another kid though. Our now 2 year old will be 3 on the next trip.

My DD goes to school in one system, and I teach in a system two counties away. Last year, her system cut out their fall break altogether. They decided that, since they were down to two days, they would just relocate those two days to Thanksgiving Week and be out a whole week then. This year, my school system moved back our start date a week, so to compensate (so we can still get out by Memorial Day), bye bye Fall Break (and any chance of another MNSSP).

Our Spring Breaks are also in different months, so there are no spiffy Spring Break vacations, either. Oh, the joys of different schedules.

Speaking of schedules, Mom (aka eeyore344) came in last night and brought up the touchy subject of inventory. Two years ago when we planned our first WDW bday trip, the retail store she works for did inventory in July. She couldn't get the week of the trip off (which is likely just as well since I paid for all of it except the $200 deposit...slip of the mouse...) She could only go the second half of the trip. So, now she thinks inventory may be in July, but we're not sure -- and won't know until December! *sigh*

Well, we're still shooting for June...just maybe not the same week in June...

I'm here!! I am so ready to go back. Even tho it was hot, rather be at Disney than at work.
I work retail so we are planning on 6/23-6/29. But being I work retail it will depend on when we inventory. So lets all pray for an early June or late May inventory!!
It is usually Me, DD, and DGD that go, but my DIL has never been so hoping to surprise her with this trip. Her birthday is also in June so we will have 3 June birthdays to celebrate.My DS like my DH doesn't really care for Disney so us girls will leave them at home and we will party with Mickey and friends!
