...and DH with mashed - 4/5 (it would be a 5 if it was not too salty like the steak at Cali Grill)."

She said, "Morning Barb! We were so pooped from the party last night we didn't roll out of bed until a bit past 8:00! We decided to spend the morning at the resort before checking out. We grabbed breakfast from...

"Charlie wanted to try the beignets, which we've never had despite multiple stays here! So he went off to get three and came back with this...




"He said the CM making them had some issues with her first batch and so threw a bunch in the box. Uhhh, ok. Well, glad we tried them, but not a fan. Made my teeth hurt! Charlie liked them a bit more, he likes fried dough things like funnel cake and elephant eats. They sure are messy though."


"He is so determined to finish those beignets...




Then a little later Becky said, "And sorry for such an anticlimactic finale, but we are already home. We had planned on hitting F&W for lunch but after checkout we were so full from breakfast still and kinda tired so we just split. This is what happens when your'e celebrating your 35th Anniversary!

"After doing a little refreshing in our rooms, we headed to Downtown Disney for some lunch. We were starving! We are bad though, we went to...

"They say you can actually taste the salt, which they enjoy."

"I really love the flair and choices here. So many great choices from the Grown up Grilled Cheese, the Stir Fried Noodles, and my favorite of course, the PORK NACHOS!"







"These are amazing, seriously some of the best nachos I've had anywhere. I love the combo of fried wonton skins and potato chips. The smoky pork, the kick from the spicy mayo sauce, and then the relief in the form of pineapple. So many great flavors that just go together perfectly!"

WOW! This is an amazing total! I'd be amazed if this record were ever broken! WTG Jeri!

Also, you two must be tired! We always wear our fitbits to the parks and it's fascinating to find out how far you've walked during a Disney day. On just Sunday alone, we walked about 11 miles. We get home from our Disney weekends feeling kinda beat, I can't fathom how you feel after over two weeks!

And once again, I am so indebted to Barb and all her hard work in this amazing thread! ALL HAIL BARB!

The first of these picks up where we left off with her and Hunter, following the culinary demo which they attended on Wednesday.


She said, "I had planned for us to catch the Boyz II Men concert but when we got there after our culinary demo the line was HUGE so we decided to head on out of Epcot. Because I had planned on the concert, our dinner reservation was later so we got off the boat at the Boardwalk to have a look around. We ended up at...




...for a Long Island for each of us."



"Hunter asked if I wanted another but he had to ask me several times as it is so loud in there that I just couldn't hear him so staying longer did not sound like a good idea to me!"




"Instead we headed over to the Dolphin to check in for our reservation at...

"We were early so we chose to have another drink at the bar. I believe this time we just did rum and diets but I did take some pictures of the drink menu and the bar area."














"After enjoying our drinks we were seated in the restaurant. I took some pictures of the menu."







"When our server came by I mentioned that I had talked to the chef and we were supposed to have a foie gras course. Unfortunately the chef had left the restaurant a few days prior and that message was not communicated. We decided, with Hunter being allergic to most things on the menu, that we would pass on eating there...So now what do we eat?!?!"



"At this point it is getting a bit late. We are tired and transportation is going to be an issue if we hang out in the Epcot area so we elect to take a bus from the Dolphin to the MK and then a boat to our resort (Wilderness Lodge) where we decide to get something to eat at the..."








"I selected the Oregon Pinot Grigio fondue (hoping for a better result than last year!)...






(Sorry the pics are not great, as it was very dark in there!"

"The fondue was ice cold. We asked her to heat it up but it still only came back luke warm. Oh well...I guess the fondue just isn't meant for me!"



"Hunter got the crispy chicken with sweet and sour chili sauce...




...and the House-made Idaho Potato Truffle Fries."




"The chicken packed a little spice but was good. Hunter didn't care for the fries as he felt they were from the bottom of the dry vat. I thought they were ok!" ​

"I finished my morning with Splash and then was going to go for a Meet with Rapuzel but Hunter was awake and hanging out at the Grand Floridian so I decided to bypass the line and go join up with him. I did see Gisèle again in the queue as I turned around, but we didn't get a picture this time."​

Paula said,"I found Hunter waiting for me here. I asked if I could get a Poolside Plunge even though it is no longer being offered on the Disney pool bar menus. Well, ask and you shall receive..."




Poolside Plunge - Bacardi Razz rum, Odwalla lemonade and a splash of grenadine and Sprite.



"Hunter went to use the restroom and came back with a little snack...




"We shared this as Hunter can't have too much dessert. It was good and cold and Mickey shaped!"​

She said, "I had asked Hunter several months ago if he would do Tea with me! I think he thought I was teasing."








"Hunter went with the Prince Edward and I went with the Buckingham."



Hunter, being a proper gentleman, of course drank his tea with his pinkie up.


Paula said, "I was able to get the same tea I had in May despite it no longer being on the menu so if you have a favorite that's missing, don't hesitate to ask to ask if they have it!"



"My tea sandwiches...



"I only wanted three of the varieties and that was not an issue. We also got a second plate of tea sandwiches, as we really enjoyed them...the bread was nice and soft!"


"Hunter's cheese and pate...





"I requested two scones for my next course, as I'm not a big fan of the strawberry tart (that normally comes with this course) and this wasn't an issue."

Friday cannot come soon enough! I am finally returning to Disney World (after a brief 25 year hiatus) with my DW31, DD4, and DD3 (who's birthday was this week).





We're staying in a Nemo Suite at AoA on DxDP. My in-laws are joining us for the 1st half of the trip, and the 2nd half is with my parents (divorced but friendly) and my DSis29.

He said, "On Monday I had my first Disney breakfast at...









The Menu Board





"I started with the Lilikoi Juice - A Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava Juice Blend."





"Every time I've been here I always got the same thing, that being the Tonga Toast so I decided to expand my horizons and try something new, so I decided upon...



"Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes with macadamia nut butter, pineapple sauce, and sausage. These were ohh so delicious, and man they don't skimp on the chopped macadamia nuts inside the batter. I will say, good thing it came with a choice of meat because you need the salty savory meat to break up the sweetness of the pancakes. For a shade over 10 bucks this is a great buy, these pancakes are so dense and rich you can easily get full after eating a little over half the stack....which sadly happened to me."



"As always, a case of the eyes being bigger than the tummy. I never have had anything but breakfast at Kona, but it never has let me down. I will say it's a bit odd having the first reservation at a place that opens and still getting a pager. I didn't wait long, just thought it was a bit awkward. Next up on my schedule is eating around the world at Food & Wine Festival."​

"The shrimp taco was fantastic, probably my favorite snack of the day. My mom said the rice pudding was just ok."



"Then after sampling some food and wine booths we were getting thirsty so went for drinks at...
