No longer a Student Nurse........

DONE!!!! I finished Nursing School (RN)!! AND....I got a nice desk clock at the pinning ceremony today! I was the only student nurse to graduate with a 4.0 -- and they said it couldn't be done.


Just wanted to say thanks to all my DISboard friends who have given me advice, encouragement, and support when things got rough.

Now to get ready for State Boards (which as of last month is more difficult to pass).

Good luck on your boards. You will do fine. Just remember to answer the " warm, and fuzzy, touchy feely nursy thing to do" whenever that choice is available.

Congratulations, I finished last year from P.A. school and it was such a relief. I have a friend in nursing school now and I see myself in him studying away and tell him to just keep trucking along.

Since you did well in school, you will do fine on state boards. When I took them, it was 2 days sit down exam. A lot of stress and very high security (plus, really hard to change an answer once you blackened in that little circle on the answer sheet).

Congratulations from another nurse veteran of 18 years.

You'll do great on the boards. I heard its alot better now to take them. When I took mine back in the olden days, it took 2 days of all day testing and we had to wait 3 months for the results.
