No longer a CROCS virgin!!

My mom broke down and bought a pair of the fire-engine red ones. I bought the black ones. I wanted pink, but couldn't "go all the way." I have the Athens flip flops and they're ok, but I think they're a little big.

Finally went to Dick's today on my way to p/u DD from preschool and bought a pair of Beach Crocs on a whim. I'm chalking it up to having the mumps and temporarily losing my sanity being stuck in the house all day long.

Maybe I can take the pink plunge later this summer...I have yet to wear them but I'm taking y'all's word for it!!

LOL I took the advice of some of the ladies here on my pregnant swollen lady thread and went to Dick's today too. I didn't buy them though - the Beach ones were too clunky for me and not my style. But I did see those Niles on line, and that's my kind. Now I'm dying to get them, so I might head out to Nordstrom tomorrow! Congrats on your new shoes

I know. I was just over at REI and they have the black Niles back in stock in my size. I don't need ANOTHER pair of black, though. My Athens are black, too...DH just raised an eyebrow and said "Ooookaaay..." when I proudly hiked up my pyjama pant legs and showed them to him tonight. Told him about my new DIS tag, showed him my Crocs and called "American Idol" "AI" and he said, "Boy, aren't you cool now..."

He doesn't know that I secretly posted about him on the dorky husbands thread!!! He WISHES he could be as cool as the Disers!

I just bought my first pair of crocs (the light pink, Beach style) at Dick's this weekend. I haven't had a true test of them yet, but if they are as good as everyone says they are, I may go back to buy some Nile's before long.

I have a problem with collecting things (can anyone say "Beanie Babies?"). I can see Crocs as my 2006 obsession. I'm just a little slower on the Crocswagon.

Welcome to the family! I am on pair number 3, got my pink this past weekend. I love them. I even have old khaki highlands I wear to the office.

I finally got a pair as well. I resisted for a long time, but they are SO comfy I have worn them every single day since, including two full days at Disneyland.

I have been looking for the Athens now, but haven't found them yet!

Can you buy the other styles at stores or just on line??? I called Nordstroms, Dick's, EMS & a local shoe store. All they carry are Beach. I'd like Caymans or Niles and would prefer to try them on first. And I'm not a very patient type, I hate waiting for shipping!

I must admit, I was slow to jump on the Crocs bandwagon....but boy am I glad I did!!! I got light pink Caymens and I love them!!!! I'm off to order another pair...the only problem is what color do I get next? I'm thinking Navy or Jade.

I've gotten both of my Caymans (black and navy) at Bob's. I just couldn't get the right fit with Beach. Bob's never had much of a supply, but I was looking in the winter. As a matter of fact, one Bob's store didn't have ANY, and when I asked, one employee asked another "Do we have any more of those rubber boots?" pointing to my Caymans. Rubber boots? "Boots"??? I'm hoping now that Spring/Summer are here, they'll have a bigger supply. I want butter and/or pink.

Oooh I didn't think of Bob's. I'll check there! LOL about the boots - I was telling a friend yesterday about them and I described them as rain shoes. Rain shoes?? They have holes in them!
