The family and I were at IOA today and there were NO lines at all!! It was WONDERFUL!!! We are going to be in the Studios tomorrow and hope that it will be the same!!
Great day today!!

Today was a beautiful day in Central Florida-warm with a breeze, not a cloud in the sky! Glad you had a great day!

Soooo good to hear!! We will be there two weeks from today so I hope we get just as lucky!!!

The weather has been extemely nice. Wonder if Disney is slow, as well.

I'm hoping that will carry over to this weekend...although it's supposed to be very warm...we might even hit 90 on Sunday.

Its not, we went to MK on Sunday and all the big attractions were pushing hour waits. The fastpasses were all there though, so that was nice.
Monday we went to Universal/IOA and it was empty. Walked onto everything, including rocket, hulk, dragons.

Such a huge difference. I actually felt kind of bad for universal, nobody was there compared to disney.

I guess this time will be hard for Universal because almost EVERYONE will try to avoid to visit the next month prior the 28th of May.
Then it will be busier because everyone will take a chance to probably get in for a preview or soft opening.
From 06/18 everything will be crazy and absolutly crowded :goodvibes

I am there in the End of July so will be prepared to fight the crowds :cool1::rotfl2:

I have to agree with you there, especially those abroad wouldn't want to pay for all the flights, hotels etc. when they could delay their trip and get HP.

Yeah, we're late June so same thing :rotfl2:
Although to be honest, I've never really had the benefit of very short waiting times since every time we've gone it's been during the summer months. I'm kinda used to waiting around an hour for the more popular rides, so at least it won't be too much of a shock :goodvibes

I would def highly suggest to book a Universal Hotel!!! :yay:
We always do it and it is SUUUUUUCH a perk!!! :cool1:

The lines are almost non existant :cheer2:

Glad crowds were low for you, OP. Late April is my favorite time to visit Universal.:)

I learned you can judge if it's a slow day if the south parking garage is closed. Was that the case?

Less people travelling from this side of the pond too...... That volcano in Iceland is making people think about getting stuck if its big brother goes off.....

Keep in mind that you're comparing a weekend day to a weekday. After peak spring break season which just ended, on weekdays, its usually much lighter at all the theme parks until summer vacations start. Of course HP holdouts factor in too!
