I have been watching since the beginning of sept for the lunch totes to come out- they are the ones that sell for $9.95 a piece and $5.00 per bag goes to the Koman foundation for breast cancer. I normally buy these and give them to the teachers as holiday gifts. So far I have seen nothing on their site. I just received a comment this morning out at the field from a parent and I told her where I buy them and now Im wondering if they are not participating anymore..:confused3

ExPirateShopGirl used to post this every year I believe, but she and certain other of us poopyheads ;) are no longer around as frequently.

Call out her name three times however and she may appear with an answer.

yeah there is nothing online at all about this promotion this year. I wonder if its the economy? I emailed them to see what their answer is. October is breast cancer awareness so it should be around this time..

At LEAN CUISINE, wellness is one of the cornerstones of our commitment to you, which makes our partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure a perfect fit.

We are proud to say we have donated over $3 million for the cure since 2002. It is because of consumers like you that we were able to raise money for Komen over the last few years.

This year, after careful consideration, we’ve decided to suspend our Designer Lunch Bag program. But this doesn’t mean we’ve suspended our commitment to finding a cure—we’re pleased to show our commitment by supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure with a flat donation of $250,000.*

We’re also continuing our commitment at LeanCuisine.com. For example, we’ve created The Inspiration Path®, a place for those touched by breast cancer to come together and share messages of encouragement.

Visit THE INSPIRATION PATH to create a personalized inspiration stone for someone you care about.

You can also download a free breast self exam guide.

Thank you so much for your continued support of LEAN CUISINE and our efforts in supporting the cure.

Aww... I mean, it's nice they're donating money, but the lunch totes were a great idea. Thanks for finding the answer, lisabarr.

Lsdies, Ladies...

I was busy preparing for and participating in the 2nd annual Expedition Everest Challenge! All was well until the heavens opened up and POURED on us during the race. Absolutely nuts! I trust you capable women (and men) can handle this board in my absence!

:goodvibes

thanks for the info!!! that is too bad. They are great bags and for a great cause!

This post isn't about Lean Cuisine, but about the lunch tote bags. I saw a huge bin of these lunch totes yesterday at the grocery store, but it was with Hillshire Farms, not Lean Cuisine. Maybe check their website to see if they are working with any non-profits involved with cancer research.

This post isn't about Lean Cuisine, but about the lunch tote bags.
For some people, it IS about the product and the charity. I have never eaten a Lean Cuisine in my lifetime and have enough shopping bags to last 2 lifetimes (in Germany we have had to bring our own bags for decades)

But I bought these in past as gifts because of the product and more importantly the cause. I choose which charity to support, and buying something from Hillshire Farms isn't the same thing for me.

This isn't about 'just' a lunch bag for some of us.

No, no, no - she just meant HER post wasn't about the Lean Cuisine lunch totes. She then goes on to suggest we visit the Hillshire Farm's website to see if they have a comparable program.

Okay, it's not the same - they're offering a free lunch tote with the purchase of three HF products. But at least I checked ;)

Ah, thank you yet again for translating - my ESL skills are tarnished. :)
