no kids for a night....

We are going with my parents for our trip, and one night they are taking the kids overnite in their room, so DH and I will have an evening to ourselves, and I have no idea what to do!
This will be the first time we have time alone while at disney, we are always with the kids.
Does anyone have any good ideas? Somewhere nice to have a drink?

Congrats on having an evening to yourself. How about an evening at the California Grill or Plesure Island for dancing? What ever you choose I am sure it will be wonderful. Enjoy!!

I guess I should have mentioned it would be after we all have dinner!
Otherwise the California grill would be nice.

We have been known to go up to California Grill just for cocktails. Actually, since way before it was California Grill! It really is a beautiful spot.

Unless you have a car, it really depends on where you are staying what works best for you. Transportation after parks close can be a pain, so I would take that into consideration. There are loads of places for a nice quiet drink, or romantic spots on the beach to watch the Electrical Parade, or dancing at Pleasure Island. But having to take a couple of busses back to your resort can sort of wipe out the nice romantic evening!

We will be there the week of thanksgiving, and we usually do not rent a car.
Taking the bus back does not bother me, I just thought it would be nice to have a drink somewhere, and just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

California grill sounds nice, especially if we can time it right with the fireworks.

My hubby and I like to use our few alone hours to head to Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk. It is a dueling piano bar, so there while maybe not uber-romantic, it's a lot of fun. And our nice stroll late night around Crescent Lake was very romantic, maybe a little wobbly, but hey, we weren't driving!
