I tried to see if anyone has posted this before, so I apologize if it has. But Disney finally banned children at the restaurant.

So my question is, should this be a must dine at restaurant for our HM?

They are just banning children under 10. So children 10 or higher will be there I dont know if it is a must do because children will not be there, but more so because it is a five star diamond dinner experience. most places at WDW are not dressy..so if you are looking for a dressier more special night out on your honeymoon than this is the place for you. Im sure any children that are there are going to be well behaved and will not impact your dining experience one way or another.

Definitely it is a wonderful place to dine during a honeymoon. The first time my wife and I went there was on a Valentine's Day and it was very special.

Your chances of seeing kids at V&A--before and after the new policy--would be rare in any case.
I's a great spot for a honeymoon dinner.

I think in general, kids or no kids, it depends on if you would like that kind of food and enjoy the experience.

Thanks for clarifying. The article I read didn't specify the age.

For me, this is a must do every trip! I look forward to the food, the romantic atmosphere and the definite change of pace from the parks!

DH and I get all dressed up, cab over to GF, walk the lobby area, head up to V&A, and ENJOY!!! The wine flights are a must do as well!!

Do yourself a favor and DO IT. It is worth EVERY penny...especially if you love food!

1) I think banning kids is a good idea.
2) I expect a good atmosphere for fine dining.
3) Frequently, kids spoil this.

4) As for your question, that is one reason I think WDW did the ban.
5) Now, it makes it sound more exclusive.
6) Maybe adults will now make it more of a "must do" event.

NOTE: Let us not forget, Disney does things for itself and its profit. If it is good for the guest, that is a side benefit. I don not think the ban was for the guest benefit, but to make a new reputation for the eatery.
