No Jingle Cruise this year?

That's SO sad!!! My whole family LOVED the Jingle Cruise! Also... all that Xmas decor and they only got a few years of use out of it? (Well, except for that part that looked like they might have just thrown all the snowflakes from Frozen into it.) Because of that I would normally say there's a chance it comes back anyway but if Erin from the Parks Blog confirmed it I'm afraid there's no hope we see it this year.

So no Jingle Cruise. No word on Paint the Night. They really aren't wowing me right now.
I feel the same way about being underwhelmed lately. I think they're trying not to wow us, do discourage some people from showing. Limit the number of people for the holidays since it's always crazy busy. Just my opinion and probably not true though.

The Jingle Jungle Cruise makeover is one of my favorites. If this is true I'm truly disappointed.

Ah......no!! I love Jingle Cruise and really look forward to it :(

As someone who always seems to visit between October and December, I'm happy to finally be able to see the original Jungle Cruise. Now if I could only get the chance to see the non-Nightmare Haunted Mansion...

I enjoy the Jingle Cruise and noticed it had very long lines last year. So, I am not the only one who enjoys it. I do remember hearing the Jungle Cruise was going to be updated. Perhaps, that has something to do with them not wanting to decorate it this year.

I'm bummed! We just got AP's so we could come back for all the seasonal stuff that we would normally miss. It is sad when the seasonal stuff isn't going to happen. DH and I went on Jingle Cruise 2 years ago, but our kids haven't seen it. They don't know any different and will be fine, so I guess that is good.

You're probably on to something there. I wonder if the left side of DL is just too crowded at this point with Fantasmic and HM overlay that this will send more people over to places like DCA for the festival of holidays to get their holiday fill. The only silver lining is hopefully the jungle cruise will have shorter lines.

While it's a bummer for those who love it, I think DL has gotten a lot of flack for all the ride closures to add and remove overlays from people going in January esp... and Jingle Cruise was a bit lackluster compared to others.

Jingle Cruise is one of my favorite rides :(.

Not on the refurb list in the days leading up to the start of the holiday season. Seems to be quite true we won't get it this year.

If it really is to reduce crowds in that part of the park... I mean I sort of get it. I'm still quite upset and disappointed, though.

It is my favorite ride! I was really looking forward to going on it again this year. :(

No way does Disney care about taking the ride down for 2 weeks. Cost-cutting? That I'd believe. And no PTN for the holidays? That would confirm cost-cutting. Again, another round. *sigh* Hope they both come back but that's my theory for now...
