I got an ADR for BOG dinner on 9/8 at 5:30pm!

That is terrible!! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I would have been upset too. You were trying to do something nice and coordinate so that someone could get a reservation that they had been looking for. I just don't understand why people have to be so mean!

I have at least 5 reservations that I am planning to cancel, but I need to figure out my FPs first and finalize my schedule. Like I said before, I like to think that by "hoarding" reservations, some day I'm going to make someone really happy when I do finally cancel.

First and foremost, our countdown is at 39 days!

Must Dos: Disney Springs Edition

The last time I went to WDW, Disney Springs was still Downtown Disney so obviously it was way too long ago!
I don't have a particular day/time planned to go to Disney Springs but I'm sure DH and I will check it out at some time-
I'm REALLY trying hard not to over plan us and go with the flow. I'm sure all of you can relate to the pain!

Anyway, as I sit here avoiding getting the shower and ready for work I figured it's time to review my (non food) must do's in Disney Springs

Coca-Cola Store- My father in law has worked for coke since the early 80s, and they are GREAT to work for. DH always comments on how his
dad's job at Coke allowed his mom to stay home with him and his brother when they were little and paid for his college tuition, among other great things! Anyway, we need to check this place out!

Basin- I'm obsessed with bubble baths and DH likes them too (although he'd never publicly admit it!).

Disney's Days of Christmas- Christmas is OUR holiday. DH and I love everything nostalgic about Christmas. Flannel. Stockings hung on the fireplace. Cookies for Santa. Christmas Carols. Family traditions. This is a must do for us!

Marketplace Co-Op - I don't know much about this place but the word 'co-op' just screams 'Ashlee, get in there'.

Disney's Days of Christmas is on my list too! Can't wait.

I just read your snack wish list... and giiiirl... when you try a Beignet you are literally going to LOVE IT! They are delicious!

It is with great sadness...

That DH and I had to cancel our trip. We were able to get a full refund
through Disney and a credit to use on Southwest by 6/1/17.

DH was assigned a major company talk the week after our trip and there is no way
he could possibly go on vacation with this assignment one week away.
Also- its not fair for me to go on vaca with my husband and have him working virtually all the time- I need and want him present.

I considered asking my mom to go with me, but this meant DH and I couldn't go together as all the money would go to this and I would feel weird asking my mom to pay.

DH promised we would go in the winter, so I am looking forward to that trip, but honestly I am just very sad right now. I might be able to guilt trip him into a GF Christmas though! (unlikely, but I might try! )

I will say my 'see you laters' now but can't WAIT to hear about all of your trips! Plus, I'll be stalking for a holiday
offer to come out maybe as current offers expire 8/31/16!

I'm so sorry Ashlee! Cancelling the trip was a very selfless thing for you to do, I don't know if I could have had the willpower to do it! Kudos to you for realizing that quality time together is the most important thing

.....Although, if you need help guilt- tripping DH into a GF Christmas, I'd also be happy to assist

Oh no! I haven't been on in while, so I just saw that you had to cancel your trip. I'm so sorry! I know how much you had been looking forward to it!

It's just not fair when work gets in the way of our real lives. I hope you can find a good offer and begin planning your winter trip soon!!
