I had a meeting this morning with my counter-part of a company we recently aquired to go over some transition issues before the staff moves from their present location to my building.
It suddenly dawned on me that all I was saying to this guy was No! Unfortunately this company still conducts some of it business circa 1980 and every question he asked about services I had to answere No, we don't do it that way. By the time I left I felt so bad for the guy I had to call him when I got back to my office. I felt like such a little b.... Sometimes it's not the greatest thing to be the buyee, I guess.
