I put the whole thing on DVD tonight!!! It's so nice to have it done and in one complete package to watch whenever we want to.

It's like our own personal Disney infomercial. Everyone in my family wants to go even more now that we watched the whole thing (twice) tonight.

I am now totally inspired!!!! I was glad to see that it was FUN and a lot of people walked and stopped for pics, etc... I was always worried that it would be a bunch of hardcore people who run the entire time

How did you get some of the pictures of all of you? Do they have Photopass people along the route?

There are picture people that are associated with the race on the road. But most of the pictures of all three of us were taken by spectators or other racers.

This is more of a party then a serious race. Sure there were women who were there to win it, but most were there to have a great time. My biggest suggestion is to make sure you train!! Your body will not be happy with you if you do not.

I ran the 5k last year and even though I trained my body hurt for almost a week. This time I trained more and my body was only slightly sore for two days.

It looks like a total blast. I love that it's more of a party/celebration than a serious race - that's just the kind of 1/2 marathon I want to do!
