Just an FYI...there are no hot tubs available at any universal resorts. Not sure if it's a state wide Florida thing or what. It is due to COVID.
2 weeks ago when I called to book, my husband said it was a REQUIREMENT to have a hot tub available or we weren't going. So, I called the hotel directly to ask them (Loews Royal Pacific). And the response I received was "ABSOLUTELY! All of our pools are fully open and hot tubs as well." Today, when we came down to the pool we learned that NO. Hot tubs are available at any Universal resort. My husband and I are upset as it's one of our most "looked forward to" activities. Especially after a busy park day.
I mean, I fully understand the Covid situation is out of their control. But, when I called to ask, they TOLD ME IT WAS OPEN.
We would probably not have come or booked a different time if we had known. Thought I'd offer the info. Since it's not widely known and they don't know what they're talking about on the phone. There is another family here and the dad/adult male in their group is LIVID because they were told everything was open too.
