No HGTV for F&G

Well, Disney has updated their website, and it looks like HGTV will not be participating. They are also going back to only having the Festival Center open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What a shame. I live locally and have 5 BWV 2 or 3 nights stays booked to take advantage of the weekday seminars. My stays all include a Sunday, so I'll still get to attend those. It has been fun the last few years going and spending time in the Festival Center with the hands on seminars.

Wow! Big changes! Is the festival center the building that was formerly Wonders of Life? So this year the 45-60 minute chef demos will only be offered on weekends? Boy, have things changed over the years! I remember when those demos were not only every day, but free as well. One day several years ago, it was raining, so I went to the festival center and attended virtually every demo/wine tasting that day. By 6:00 I rolled out of there, full and a little tipsy. Ah, the good old days. Thanks for the heads up-we haven't firmed up our dates yet for this year-holding resizes at BCV for about 10 days until we decide which 5 days we want, but now we know to make sure we include the weekend.

You are confusing F&W (fall) with F&G (spring). Details for F&W will not be out until mid-summer.

I saw that, too. I thought "finally, some news about F&G". But it was so little news. We saw Allison Victoria from Kitchen Crashers last year and were looking forward to seeing someone else this year. But not H&GTV at all. And the formerly Flower Power concerts aren't much either. Other than Peter Noone, I really saw nothing I was interested in.
