No Free Dining for us

Hello all,
Free dining was posted for Disney Card holders, I called to get a revision on my ressies. Guess what? If you are stayiing in the Suites no discounts are allowed. Have you heard this before???????????
Pay more and get less. Oh well, I'm still going no matter what, can't mention this to DH, don't want to hear it.

Are you referring to the family suites at AoA or ASMu, or the "real" hotel suites at CSR/deluxes? If a family suite, maybe consider booking two rooms instead?

If you are talking about family suites, others have gotten free dining in the family suites, and I have a military discount for my AoA suite, so it's not "no discounts at all" for these. It might be no discounts are available for this promotion/set of dates.

Yeah it stinks. They put alot of restrictions on that free dining offer.

If by suites you mean that you're staying in a DVC villa on points, you definitely cannot get free dining. DVC members can add the DDP, but they have to pay for it.

Essentially, if you are not paying rack rate for your room, then you are not eligible for free dining. They just arent into letting folks combine offers. Sorry.

Disney only discounts the rooms that aren't selling. If the resort/room category you're in is booking up well without a discount, they really can't justify putting a discount on it.

The goal of free dining is to fill empty rooms. If they don't have alot of empty rooms in that category, why give something away free? You have to decide what's more important to you - the resort & room or free dining.

I'd ask the CM what's available for your party size with that discount. Like the previous posters said it could be that the offer is filled for the room type you have. There was no restriction on suites on the offer. Just 3br villas, AoA standard LM rooms and campsites. You could wait and try to get it when the public discount is announced or switch up rooms that has a discount available
