No FP+ for AP voucher holders?

I received AP vouchers for having a Disney wedding and will not be activating them until we are in WDW for our trip. I'm really bummed that this pretty much means no SDMT fastpasses for us.

Am I doing something wrong or are voucher holders really not able to book fp+?

AP vouchers are able to book FP. I'm not clear on the process, someone here will know.

Have you linked to your MDE? If you are staying onsite you can book FP+ 60 days out. Not staying onsite 30 days out. But you have to link.

I'm not sure what type of voucher you received, but I got a green card that says "Exchange Certificate" when I bought my AP thru Disney. I'll need to exchange it once I get to a park (or Downtown) for an actual AP. There is a number in teensie print under the bar code and that is what I used in MDE as my ticket number. I have been able to set up FP's that way.

More to say...
You won't get a MB (if staying offsite) until you activate the AP at Disney but if staying onsite you will get one with reservation. Make sure when tougher back you customize your MB. Uppity insert and you'll find your discount card. Until you have it, you'll just show your AP and ID

If you have a smart phone, you can scan in the barcode on your voucher to link to MDE. That is what worked for us when we had AP vouchers.
