When it is new, people will likely drive it to about 90 minutes before most people walk up and say "sorry, no way."

How does this explain the 4 hour wait the last time they were in Norway without a FP option? When you have a 5 year old girl, microeconomic judgments do not factor in, nor does "no way!"

I am sure initially and for the summer crowds it will be crazy but wouldn't be surprised if by the fall, given the 3 room, it drops to not too bad of a wait

New "best practice": Running of the bulls to the M&G at Rope Drop followed by a 9:45 FP for FEA. If you book a FP any earlier than that, it could expire before you finish the M&G. The rush to Norway at RD is going to be insane without FP to quell some of the crowd.

when they were in Epcot previously there was only one "room" of Anna / Elsa - the new set up with triple the number of people that can meet them

I honestly don't have faith that they will routinely staff all 3 rooms.

I don't care that they have three rooms.

As I see that as only a minor improvement in the current out-of-control situation at MK.

ESPECIALLY if they ELIMINATE the only mitigating control factor now in place... Advance-booked FP.

If you are suggesting that the "over/under" on the wait time with 3 rooms is going to be 45 minutes to an hour, my money is on "over".

Well, i think it will still be popular but I don't think 4 hour waits like they used to have at MK. I think 60-90 for the summer and the 30-45 starting in the fall given the 3 rooms, but who knows

I think summer will be staffed to keep the line "reasonable" by A/E standards. But I'd lay serious money that by fall they will cut back and keep less than 3 rooms open.

I'm just glad we're going in a few days and will get to see A&E with a FP. Hopefully it will be ironed out by next spring for our next visit, I love my girls dearly but there is no way I am going to stand in a 2 hour line with them, for anything.

That system is currently in-place at MK as one of the options to riding Dumbo.

The numbers are issued in order as guests arrive.
The progression of numbers (as they come due) are displayed
and, sometimes, an estimate of the time when a guest's number will come due.
Guests go up to enter the attraction when their number comes due.

A lot of "license offices" and other businesses are adopting this system.
Many of them will send a text message to customers cell phones as their number's time is nearing.

I voiced my concern about no FP+ for the meet and greet to the Disney Parks Blog. But my comment didn't make the cut. I will be surprised IF A&E M&G isn't hours long. Although I had predicted Olaf's M&G queue to be out to the boat docks. Last night we walked right in to Olaf with less than a 5 minute wait. Guess it's going to be a wait and see. However, I hope there is a plan in place if the demand for A&E exceeds their expectations.
