No FP+ for A:FOP at 60 days

Very fortunate as today we had or 60 day (Oct 7-14). We scored an afternoon FOP FP for the 10th and a morning FOP FP for the 13th.

Hopefully this gives some hope, though we did it the first moment possible.

so true. the FP booking time used to be midnight, which, as a night owl, Iloved! it was 11pm my time. (once it fell on a work night, and I begged another server to cover for me so I could get home in time lol) when it changed to 7 am I was not happy! but I understand it's more convenient for people with "normal" work hours. which is whyit's great that, as a reward for staying onsite I can book FP for the entire trip and not have to do it every morning. as to a longer stay, yes that's the way disney rewards those who stay longer.

Living on the west coast, 9pm would be so much better than 4am. But, we get what we get.

I just had my window open at 7 a.m. I was ready. Not a FP available for Avatar the entire week I'm there. I'd use an expletive for their current system, but that wouldn't be nice and this forum isn't the place for it. I totally don't get having my window open only to find out that every hour for 5 straight days are gone. It's more than annoying. I think I'll head over to the Universal instead and see if I can score a ride on HP.

Going Oct 7-12 was only able to get FOP on the 12 for 9:50 AM. Was there in July and got one FP also plus did the rope drop. Everyone needs to do the RD at least once and experience the ride queue.

I know it's frustrating was in the same boat. Our window for short 4 day trip Oct 6-9 opened Monday and I logged on right @ 7:00 to find only 1 option that was too late on our departure day. But I would keep checking back. I looked several times yesterday and managed to get FPs for our family on both the 7th and earlier on the 9th. Not sure why someone would be cancelling already but it obviously does happen. I've also heard more open up right before the 30 day mark as people can still cancel their packages without penalty.

also, people book a few FP that might work. then maybe sit down with the family (or spouse) and toss around options, ideas. change things around a bit and finalize plans. then cancel the ones they won't use.

Keep checking. Last week I got fast pass for 4 people at 3 pm to ride at 7 pm the same day. So it does happen. The standby times were awful though...over 3 hours.

My 60-day FP+ window opened this morning. I couldn't get a FP+ for A:FOP on any of the four days we are there (Oct. 6 to Oct. 9)

It's not a huge deal; we were able to get a FP+ for our trip last week. It's a really cool attraction.

I tweeted my dismay at the WDWToday account. Their answer was to keep checking as other guests may cancel the FP+ for the attraction. Riiiiiiiiigggggghhhhhtttttt!

I switched 2 of our 12 FOP FP today and switched them to Navi. We will get a child swap ticket and then ride Navi with our 2 year old while others are on FOP. After riding Navi, my wife and I will get to ride FOP with child swap tix.

We are arriving different days. I am trying to get them on day 7 of our trip (myself and Micky), no big deal.
But my day 7 is my brother's day 4 and my sisters' day 3...not so great.

We are going from 10/7 - 10/14. Our 60 day window was on 8/8. We woke up at 4am and were not able to get FOP on our second day of our trip but were able to get a morning fp on our 6th day. Like everyone else says, the longer your trip, the better chance you have at getting a fp for FOP.

We arrive on 10/27. We stay on site and have annual passes, DVC members. Our 60 day window opens up on 8/27. When it does can we make FP for our entire stay of 14 days.

We arrive on 10/20. Just made my FOP FP for AK on 10/25 and 10/27 with zero issues plenty of availability even changed it a couple of times.

I'm glad I decided to hold off on AK for towards the end of the trip.

I booked for our trip, 10/8 thru 11
I was able to get FoP FP for 4 for the PM of the 10th and AM of the 11th
When I booked for our August trip it was the same, day 4 of our trip I got PM FP (for 2 this time) and day 5 I got in the AM
This is pretty standard across the board, you can get FP on day 4, so if you have 3 day trips you are out of luck most of the time. So I am not seeing any difference in crowds whatsoever.

Every once in a while folks find a FP for earlier in their trip but not regularly.
Otherwise, folks do find FP later. There are numerous reports of folks finding day of FP. People do change the park they plan to go to and when they book FP for that new park, the FP they had are put back in the system. Someone gets them. It may be you. If you are lucky

I have a four day trip planned mid-September, AK is my last (4th day). I tried to book my FP for FOP first(at exactly 7 am, for the 4th day) and there was NONE available.

Thankfully persistence paid off though, because I kept checking every morning and found one at day 36. But the fall must be busier than the summer, because I know I'm not the only one who had problems on day 4 finding a FOP FP.

If you can't get passes, the lines app showed an actual wait for FoP of 40 minutes and 10 minutes for the River ride last Friday night after 9 pm.

Those standby waits seem manageable to me.

I managed to get day of FP's for the 3 of us this week. I was sitting on the bench at the end of Test Track, waiting for DH&DS. While waiting for them, I was checking to see what I could get for our evening park and I had several times to choose from for FOP. This was for our 4th FP. I kept refreshing and different times came up. Don't give up, keep checking! We also got Na'vi River, day of.
