An interesting observation from the 5/25 Magic...
Although there is always an announcement before the shows asking people to refrain from flash photography and videotaping, I've always seen lots of flashes and no action taken. But on our Western cruise, during Disney Dreams, members of the cruise staff were going around warning people with cameras before the show started (hubby was warned because he was holding his digital camera, even tho' he never uses a flash...we sit up front and the pictures come out fine without it).
Then, during the show, they went around and told people who were taking flash photos to stop (including the person behind us, which is how I knew what was going on). That was a total first for a Disney cruise! It's been a while since we've been on the Magic, but it's never happened on the Wonder.
Poor hubby was a little sad because he was forbidden from using his digital, even without the flash (he was told that it was due to the view screen being annoying
). But even with that restriction, it was nice to see the flash rule enforced. They only did it for Disney Dreams, not any of the other shows. I don't know whether this is a new policy or there was something special going on that day. Anyone else notice this on the Magic?
