Just because you don't "accept" it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Look, we are a mixed race couple. I'm Asian (Chinese), DH is Caucasian, and we have two beautiful mixed race children. Do you think our relationship is "inappropriate"?
Mister Disney, I think you are right about younger children not knowing or caring. I remember when our children were in the toddler/preschool age. It was not usual for girls and boys to be holding hands with each other while playing, walking, crossing the street, etc. It's not until later that the element of sexual attraction is added to hand-holding.
OH MY GOD, Deb....I never even "thought" you might be a mixed raced couple....what will people think, 2 people who love each other that happen to both be men and a lovely family of 4 that happen to be mixed race on the Train Tour
I am not sure I wanna do the train tour anymore.....
NOT
Deb, I can not wait to meet you now! June won't come soon enough!
We can still treat others like human beings even if we disagree with their lifestyle. You do more harm by avoiding people than you do becomng friends with them. That doesn't mean you have to rush out and do everything they do, but it does mean you show some respect towards other people. It's only decent. Why should they bother to listen to what you have to say if all you're going to do is rant on about how much you don't like it? I wouldn't listen either. It's not there mere disagreement with homosexuality that labels someone as a "homophobe"...it's how those who disagree with it are responding. Because I disagree with it and I've never been called a homophobe...because my disagreeing with it has never prevented me from being someone's friend or from respecting them. They are people, too...with feelings!!

Sorry I can't be more help regarding your original post. Hope you can get at least a few more suggestions before this thread is locked...
We didn't know why so many people were wearing red; we were too busy enjoying ourselves at MK! Maybe some of the "flamers" should ride IASW.
