we are planning a trip for disneyworld in march. we will be there the 20th-25th. We recieved a letter in the mail that said we would get to take a sneak peak before the official oppening....However, i was reading tonight on the boards about people hearing from cms that EE wil close in March, and reopen on the official date in April :confused3 ...if this is true my whole family will be really dissapointed :sad2: Does anyone have anymore info on this???? Thanks a lot

I could possibly see the week before it opened being closed for last minute touch ups but probably not for more than that. I don't remember other attractions being closed well before the opening either.

It will likely be running on a limited schedule. Your best source of info is right here on the DIS. Keep reading as your trip approaches to see if there is any kind of day or time pattern that they are operating EE before the "official" opening.

The park guide maps show the area as coming soon. However, when we were there the other day, it was open and we rode it.

CMs are not always known for their inside knowledge. (as in, you can call disney with the same question 5 times, get 5 different CMs with 5 different answers.) I have heard elsewhere that EE would be open from last week all the way up til April. It may not run all day, everyday, but the possibility of it being open does exist while you are there.

Rode EE yesterday 2/6/06 - The cast member at the photo booth in the gift shop when you disembark from the ride said they are going to try to keep it unofficially open every day until the April opening - but it is not guaranteed-
Good Luck - It was AWSOME!
