Is it true? I thought I read that WDW has elminated ee for Disney Guests. How can this be? We are going in a couple of weeks and we planned our days around this. When did it end? Believe me, I'd like to sleep one more hour just like the next guy but when MK closes at 7:00, that extra hour in the morning really helps to catch more attractions. Also, are some of the shows eliminated at some of the parks on certain days? Please help.

The EE is back. Yes they did stop it after 9/11. Now the they call it something like Extra Hour Morning I think. If you go over to the DIS pages you can find it under the theme park section. It will tell you which days and what are open. They have added the AK to the list.

EE was suspended for one year--- From October 2001 until October 2002. When it reopened it was called Extra Hour Morning, and AK was added to the lineup.

You can now get into your favorite park one hour prior to scheduled opening on scheduled days, if you are staying in a Disney resort, and have a multiday pass.

The schedule is as follows:
MK--- Sunday and Thursday
AK--- Monday and Friday
MGM--- Tuesday and Saturday
Epcot--- Wednesday

The character caravan at the resorts that had been instituted when EE morning was disbanded is now obsolete.

Hope that helps clear things up!:)

What about the shows? Beauty and the Beast? Are the shows cut back?

SpectroMagic has always been offered only on select evenings. during the off-season.
I'm pretty sure that most shows are back to daily operation. Some Epcot entertainment has off days simply because a small number of performers are involved (ie the candy lady is the only candy lady. She's unique and gets 2 days off.)

Shows:

Studios: Beauty and the Beast is back to full scheduling; the Hunchback of Notre Dame show closed last October.

MK: Carousel of Progress and Timekeeper operate seasonally (at peak times only). The Diamond Horseshoe Revue closed in February.

Epcot: Tapestry of Dreams parade ended in March.
