I posted this on the "If You Could Choose A New DVC Resort..." thread but I think it got buried. It's repeated below for anyone that missed it.
"Hate to burst everyone's bubble but there will never be a DVC resort at the Poly. I spoke to one of the DVC higher ups about it and was told that 1) there's no room and 2) the ground there is unstable. It's a very wet area (lagoon) and when they refurb the hotel they have to fly in the supplies with a helicopter. They can't use a crane because it would sink. Sorry for the bad news."
Never say never but I wouldn't hold my breath.
