Well, Fantasmic is going to be down in January when we are there, and I thought I read somewhere they were having a parade to make up for it, but the schedule doesn't show a parade listed for any days we are there. The Pixar parade in DCA is listed, so it looks the schedule is up. Anyone know anything????

Keep checking the DL website. Sometimes parades don't get added until 30 - 45 days out.

Do we know if they will continue with the same parade, or will we get a new one?

Last I read over at MiceAge was that there are still rumors of a new parade coming to DLR (something to do with the "Celebration" theme) and that PoD will be going to WDW. However, still just rumors and nothing has been confirmed -- which explains why nothing is listed on the Jan calendar yet.

From Screamscape.com:
"Celebrate! Party In The Streets - (11/6/08) I’ve been told that a new parade called Celebrate! Party In The Streets will begin as soon as the winter holiday is over and they retire the Parade of Dreams. The new parade will run twice daily and feature colorful floats featuring Disney characters with banners and ribbons connecting the floats as if in a long chain. The parade is expected to stop several times along the route to “party” with the guests, along with the use of a ton of confetti to be shot from cannons placed along the parade route."

However, there's an audition at Disneyland on Dec. 7th for the Parade of Dreams, so maybe they'll be continuing that one until they have all the kinks worked out for the new one and debut it during the spring/summer?

OK..at least there is hope!
