No Disney Parade on Greensboro TV either

What's going on with ABC affiliates. For years our family has loved viewing the WD Christmas parade and this year the local affiliate here in North Carolina isn't showing the parade at all. Not today or tomorrow either. We were looking forward to putting this on DVR and helping us plan for our April 30th trip. I guess paid programming, reruns and the NBA is what everyone wants now.

Go figure. I cannot understand why everyone isn't watching Alias, either!

I was so sad to see it is not playing here in MA either. I was alos going to use it for our May trip with the kids. One of our stations (not ABC) is showing the parade in Dallas??? Don't Regis and Kelly usually host it? What a disappointment.

I just did a check for CA, and it's not playing in Los Angeles either. What is the deal? If anyone can post when it's going to be on, please do!

There surely hasn't been any specific actions or decisions reported that would account for this, so it seems to be grass-roots decisions on the part of individual stations to do what they think is best for their own market.

Here in Charlotte the parade is on FOX at 1:30. Why it is on FOX rather than ABC is baffling. Oh well. At least we can see it later.
