I see Hoop Dee Doo listed...
Is there no discount for DVcers for the Aloha show?

Thanks!

From what I know, there is not. I don't know if other discount options like DDE or AP offer a discount on that one.

Dean is right no DVC discount on that show. DDE offers a 20% discount on the whole tab including any alcohol and I think AP offers a 10% discount excluding alcohol but it is for the late show only. I am not positive about the AP discount though, this might just be for HDD.

What is DDE?

If I have an AP, but my parenst traveling with me do not, can I purchase their tickets along with mine to get the AP discount?

Thanks!

DDE = Disney Dining Experience, it is a dining card that gives 20% off at 99.9% of the sit down restaurants on WDW property and the food courts at the value resorts. The discount is good for up to 6 or 8 people but at times the servers will let you go over this. The DDE is available only to FL residents and you must have proof of residency to purchase the card and must show either a FL drivers license or FL id etc when you use the card. Residency does not need to be year round to quailify so therefore snow birds, college students atttending a FL college, military personnel stationed in FL etc are eligible. The card costs $60 -$70 per year depending on a renewal discount and can only be mailed to a FL mailing address. It is a wonderful discount program for those that qualify.

Yes, you can purchase all the tickets and get your AP discount on your parents tickets as well.

One correction is that DDE is only good for Disney owned restaurants but that still leaves out about half of the ones in Epcot and most at DD. It's also good at a number of lounges.

Now it is my turn for a slight correction Dean........
The only sit down restaurants at Epcot that are not included in the DDE discount are the ones in Japan.
Dean is correct in that since DDE is a Disney dining discount program it is only accepted at Disney restaurants so none of the restaurants in S/D and most of the non Disney restaurants at DTD do not accept the card. Unfortunately the only DTD restaurants that do accept the DDE are Captain Jacks and Wolfgang Puck Cafe. However all the great sit- down Disney restaurants accept this card including Victoria & Alberts.

Looks like they've added some choices since last time I looked, that's great.
