We are leaving on Wed. and although I am usually up on all my dining ressies I admit I did them a little late this trip. BIG MISTAKE!! I guess the free dining thing has killed me and I was only able to get 3 ressies for the week :confused3 . I hate not having a ressie for each night :confused3 Does this also mean the crowds will be huge??

Any suggestions? I do have a car so eating offsite is a possibility but leaving and coming back....what a pain!!

Keep trying-I called today and was able to get several with a variety of times both breakfasts and dinners. Don't worrry, I bet you will find something! :sunny:

The parks might not be any fuller than usual for this time. It just might be that everyone getting free dining went ahead and made there reservations so they could make the best use of the free dining. Some that might not have made them if not for the dining plan. Hopefully everything will work out for you and you will have a great vacation. :)

Have you thought about booking a late lunch as a TS instead of dinner?

Or try a restaurant off the beaten path? I know the only TS that we ate at last year without a ADR was the Yacht Club Galley. It was good and quiet.

I just called today and added Maya Grill to our trip. It was the only night I hadn't made an ADR and I got nervous. They still had availability in 2 weeks...

Keep trying! They are offering up TS dining options at POP & the AS's. They also are opening the Tomorrowland Noodles Station up as the Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe with a ridiculously priced buffet. I also understand that Chef Mickey's will be serving lunch. Good luck! Maggie

Just to let you know if you go off property to eat you'll have your pick of places. We live near the mouse and the restaurants have been empty! Sat night @ 6 pm we walked right into Olive Garden, it wasn't even half full. Tonight at Ale House, same thing. These places are usually packed. The free dining is really hurting them. I never realized how many people left the parks to eat.

Everyone forgets that Disney plans according to the season. They know September is slower so the restaurants may have less wait staff. This means less tables available for diners.

Last year, went to Hollywood and Vine. Had to wait 30 minutes to eat after our ADR time. Got in and half the restaurant was empty. The restaurant had 1/2 the wait staff it would during the summer.

Keep trying, people make changes on where to eat or sadly, cancel vacations. We had to drop a 5 day stay at AKL which we had planned before going to the BWV for a week. We planned the AKL stay when free dining was announced, but had to cancel the trip and the ADRs for those days.

Dial from the room or go to Guest Serivces when you get to your first park and see what is available for the entire stay. You never know what has been cancelled. I would call everyday to see what may be available. People are relooking at their trips now.
