No DHS availability 6/7-6.10?

The park reservation system shows no availability for DHS from 6/7-10 for ticket holders and resort guests. Just wonder if I'm missing the fact that something is going on that week? Those are the only days at this point that show no availability in June for DHS. Any thoughts?

We're going that week and I just saw that, too! There is nothing special going on that week that I know of, other than it's the first week a lot of kids are out of school.

For what it’s worth, when I bought tickets two weeks ago for the 7th, DHS wasn’t originally available. It was the only day for the entire summer that it wasn’t available, which would just be my luck lol. I checked again a day or two later and was able to book it.

I could be wrong, but I think "Gay Days" are that 1st week in June. Not officially events but there is a website and itinerary so that may have something to do with it?

Gay Days ends on 6/6 this year, I initially thought the same thing.

I noticed the same thing about 2 weeks ago and had the same question, but then a few days later the whole week opened back up. But as you mentioned it's not available again. Not sure if it's a system issue or if there really is high demand for that week.

First week of "summer" (kids being out of school), flower and garden and the most difficult to get park pass.

With many, many people wanting a BG for RoTR, I am wondering if these are people signing up for multiple HS days but will change to another day if/ when they get boarding groups.

Our week was wide open but now HS is filled every day but no other park is. Where is everyone going after their day at HS? I would think other parks would get filled if a week gets one park filled. Or does HS have the least capacity so it gets filled faster, combined with its popularity?

Feeling relieved we reserved our park pass for 6/10 a couple months ago, but now a little concerned this means it will be jammed. Of note though we are really going more for Toy Story Land and won’t be spending much time in Star Wars.

Of note... some states have kids in school until later in June this year due to starting later in Fall because of pandemic. We are actually pulling our kids out for a week as we weren’t interested in taking the trip in July or August.

We are going this week as well. We have two HS days reserved, but will be giving up our second if we get Rise on Day 1. I hate having to do things this way, but we really want to experience this ride.

I feel so dumb I was looking at the AP availability and felt safe. My wife doesn't have one and now we can't book the DHS the days we're staying at Boardwalk. Does the availability fluctuate at all?

Yes, but they may not actually change the calendar if only a few spots open up here and there. So just try to make the reservation disregarding what the calendar says - try multiple times daily if possible.

The only thing I can think of why this week is busy is that it's the last week of a DVC season before it gets pricier.

Just looked, and 12 of the first 17 days of June are now booked at DHS. My guess is that many people are booking the entire trip at DHS now, and then plan on changing it up to other parks later when their plans finalize.

I suspect this is going to be the trend for the summer. If you are going this summer, I'd get your DHS reservations booked now.

I’m so bummed!! We are going 5-11 and I got on today to reserve parks and no HS... for our entire trip!!!!! We have lost any hope of even being able to try for a boarding group for Rise but hopefully will be able to at least hop to ride the other HS rides. .

I just noticed the 7th is now booked for MK, too. It's going to be a busy week I guess!

I don’t see any availability...yea going by the res calendar it does seem like it’ll be busy!
