Hi,
I am from the UK and I just wondered what the reaction has been over there to the news that its looking likely that desserts will be removed from the Disney Dining Plans in 2011. This seems to be the case for both Table service and Counter Service credits. This is being stated in the UK travel company brochures (various companies) as their packages for 2011 are already out. I have heard that people who have queried this with the travel companies have been told that they have confirmed this as being correct with Disney, although I can't personally verify this.
I believe that this was the first indication last time the DDP changed, i.e. when appetisers / gratuities were removed.
Below is a cut and paste from one of the UK travel companies' websites with the relevant bits bolded.
Thanks,
Matthew
