No dessert party at Tamu Tamu????!

Just had my first call with Disney about my birthday event in October. The planner told me that if I do an event at Tamu Tamu courtyard that I won’t be allowed a dessert party, only a modified service dinner. Has anyone had success booking a dessert party at that venue? The planner was strongly steering me toward Epcot. I had been thinking a dessert party at Tamu with sweet and savoury, some entertainment during the event (tattoo artist) and two ride mix ins. She also said only one mix in but I’ve heard of people doing two. How do I proceed with all these roadblocks?

For ride mix ins it depends on start/end time of your event along with park closing time. Maybe event planning is different than wedding planning
