No DC on-board credit for DVC Members?

Hi all!

F.Y.I., I made my ressies through DVC using points for 1/2 our Oct 13th cruise. I tried to call yesterday to see if I could get a Disney Club on-board credit and was told that it's not offered to DVC Members.

Shooooooot!

Anyone else able to get this credit through DVC?

You cannot combine other discounts with DVC, unless it is something that is authorized and offered through Member Services, such as a rebooking incentive, or a seasonal special, such as the Fall Savings recently offered for selected September cruises. Sorry.

My parents are cruising on points. We are on cash. We are BOTH getting the first time cruiser $50 credit. Don't know if that applies to you. If it does, go for it!

I booked with the TA discount and did not receive the DC credit (although I was told I would) and also didn't receive the 'Castaway Club' gift. I guess that is the price I pay for the discount.
