No Credit card hotel and car rental.

I don't remember the exact total of the incidentals charge but I don't think it was any higher than $50. I was told by one CM that it is supposed to be a certain percentage of the hotel rate (not sure if they meant a percentage of one night, or a percentage of the entire bill), but it usually turns out to be about $50.

I was also told that in the case of certain debit cards, the hold placed on the card for incidentals stays there a few days longer than with other debit cards. Some debit cards will see the hold removed immediately upon check-out, while others will see it removed a few days after check-out. I have no clue which cards get the faster removal and which ones don't.

And one particular CM told me that sometimes, in the case of "some debit cards," their computer system will automatically just apply the incidentals hold at check-in, whereas with other cards the system doesn't automatically do it and the CM's can tell it to apply the hold. Again, I have no clue which debit cards trigger an instant hold and which ones don't.

Thank You...

:thumbsup2
